Cash Sale: Producers can sell spot, or may contract for delivery either flat priced or basis. Floored Average Contracts, E-Market Contracts and Minimum Price Contracts are also available. A producer who wishes to do so may sell his/her grain and defer the payment.

DEFERRED PAYMENT: A producer who wishes to do so may sell his/her grain and defer the payment. South Dakota Wheat Growers offers an exciting Deferred Payment program that pays like a CD with different interest rates for different terms. Details are available at any Wheat Growers location.

Wheat Growers DP Program for Corn and Soybeans
Effective on deliveries starting January 11, 2010

Deliveries may be placed directly into the South Dakota Wheat Growers DP Program. DP charges will be free if priced by noon of the Friday following delivery. Grain not priced by that time will charged 5 cents per month prorated from the day of unload. An annual DP program is also available. A producer electing to participate in the annual DP program is subject to a $.40 one-time charge. Producers must notify SDWG prior to noon of the Friday following the week of unload if they wish to participate in the annual DP program. Soybeans on DP not priced by noon on October 1, 2010 and corn on DP not priced by noon November 5, 2010 will be rolled into the fall 2010 DP program in effect at that time. This DP program is being offered first come, first served on a Location-by-Location basis. Elevator space will be limited. Reminder, since title to this grain passes to the elevator at time of delivery; LDP’s cannot be taken at a later date if they become available.

Wheat Growers 2009 Wheat Program
Effective for all wheat deliveries starting July 13, 2009

CASH SALE: Producers can sell spot, or may contract for delivery using a variety of cash contracts. Contact a Wheat Growers location manager or grain originator for details.
DEFERRED PAYMENT: A producer who wishes to do so may sell grain and defer the payment. South Dakota Wheat Growers offers a Deferred Payment program that pays like a CD with rates that are linked to the maturity date. Details are available at any Wheat Growers location.
DP DIRECT: Wheat Growers is not accepting DP wheat at this time. We are buying wheat on a cash only basis. Storage will not be charged on wheat delivered on any given week (by midnight Saturday) and priced by noon the following Friday.
